Lee's Website

For testing out basic stuff

So I'm currently trying to learn HTML basics and wanted to create a very bare bones site. This way I can practise my coding and see how it all looks at the same time

So here is a bunch of links to some different websites:

So that was an example of an Unordered Listed along with hyperlinks. I also just used the STRONG tag before to create bold text. That's pretty neat huh?

Speaking of lists, here are my top three favourite swear words ranked in order:

  1. Cunt
  2. Fuck
  3. Bastard

Bit of a potty mouth there, should really have said it like cunt. Then again, I don't believe in censorship.

As for things I do believe in, I believe in the power of the mighty burger. I love a big, meaty, cheesy burger with plenty of pickles on. Like this burger for example:

I want this burger so bad but I'm on a diet :(

Now that bad boy looks tasty AF!

So hey, this is an example of a DIV tag. It allows you to manipulate certain parts and apply specific CSS to them. Yes I actually used CSS in this website! You might have even noticed that the background is different and the font is too. It's serif.

Okay back to normal!

Hey remember how all those old websites had Guestbooks? Normally with a GIF, something like this one actually...

Guestbook

And they all had an Under Construction GIF as well 😂

Under Construction

That GIF would look a look better with a black background btw, for example:

Under Construction

Hey now! That was a TABLE, using the TH, TR and TD tags. Oh and the CAPTION tag that I've never heard of before!
